The search by content feature helps users find out specific images, videos, and other files in the gallery by typing keywords in the search bar. These keywords may be categories, file names, or EXIF data.
When a user types a keyword in the search bar, the plugin scans through the gallery and displays all relevant files. This feature can save users a lot of time looking for specific files in a gallery, especially if the gallery has too many files.
You can activate this feature both on the front end and back end. It is helpful both for web visitors and admins.
But if you don’t want this feature to be active in any particular gallery, you can disable it from the back end. This idea works well in galleries with limited media files.
Note: It is important to note that the EXIF data must be properly entered and saved, so the search by EXIF data feature works properly.
