Create, publish and discover

Your gallery, a wider audience

Bring your gallery to Contest Gallery Network

Create your gallery on your own WordPress website. Share it in the Network so people can discover your project and visit your original contest.

One project, two ways to get involved

Contest Gallery is the WordPress plugin for running galleries and contests on your own website. Contest Gallery Network is the public directory where visitors can discover galleries that their administrators have chosen to share.

1. Create on your website

Use Contest Gallery in WordPress to collect entries, present media and set your participation rules.

2. Publish a Network listing

Choose a gallery, describe it clearly and submit its public information from the existing plugin controls.

3. Welcome new visitors

People discover the listing on contest-gallery.net and follow its link to your original gallery.

The gallery stays on your WordPress website. Uploads, voting, comments and participation follow the settings you configure there. The Network provides a separate discovery page with links back to your gallery.

Find galleries and ideas for your next project

Browse the Network by theme or website. Open a listing to see its galleries, selected public previews and available activity figures. Visit the original website for the current participation rules and to take part.

Give your WordPress contest another place to be discovered

A useful listing tells visitors what your project is about before they reach your website. Write a specific title and a short description of the theme, audience and what visitors can do. Where relevant, mention the current entry period in your description and keep the full rules on your own site.

Use the existing Publish to network action in Contest Gallery to submit an eligible gallery. Network publishing is available in FREE and PRO. You choose when to publish and can remove your listing later.

Useful for more than a single competition

A photo competition can introduce its theme and invite people to view the submissions. A video contest can point visitors to its watch-and-vote page. A creative community can share an ongoing public gallery. Choose a public destination that matches what your listing promises.

Explore photo contests, video contests or member communities before choosing your own format.

Keep the listing useful as your gallery changes

After publishing, the plugin schedules a daily refresh through WordPress Cron while it remains active. The listing can reflect updated public previews and activity. If accepted updates stop for 14 days, the gallery drops out of the public Network index.

Review your saved listing text and destination when the project changes. Use Update network listing to change them, View listing to inspect the result and Unpublish from Network when you no longer want it listed.
